Get To Know INTAFF.

When we make a short interview to the public, and ask them either they know about INTAFF or not, their answer much simple; "I don't know", "what is INTAFF?". Actually, they are confused because INTAFF is not familiar waving surround their ears. 

So here, we arranged one program to give an approach about INTAFF or International Affairs Management course among junior students, especially toward first year semester. One program which was held on October 4, 2013 really give an opportunity toward them.

This program started around 9 am, then Head Department of International Affairs and also Advisor of INTAFF Society, Dr Mohammad Zaki bin Ahmad gives a short speech before Exco of Academic, Amir Hafizuddin bin Kamsani give a briefing about International Affairs Management course.

In this program, we are also introduced all committee members so that they will know who play the role behind INTAFF Society. Besides, many project leaders for this semester also take this opportunity in promoting their programs.

Then, this program continue with one slot that handled by Farid Aswan bin Ismail. He is one of the tutor at School of International Studies. He also one of the alumni for International Affairs Management course which will get Anugerah Emas for this coming convocation. In his slot, he gives some motivation and he shared about his recipe how to become a successful person our life. 

Around 12.15 noon, this program ended and we hope, students which come from first year in this course get a clear picture about International Affairs Management course and did not confused, anymore.

Seminar: Southeast Asia Regional Centre For Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT)

One annual seminar was held on October 1, 2013 at Seminar Convention B. Dr Thomas Koruth Samuel had been invited to present a seminar regarding the topic Reaching The Youth: Countering The Terrorist Narrative.

Within his topic there were crucial facts and points that brought a lot of benefits to us in order to relate within the current problems especially in terrorism. Most of the first semester students until fourth semesters has participated for this seminar. This seminar started at 9 am and ended around 12 noon.

Motivation Program for STPM Student.

On 24 September 2013, INTAFF Society was organized smoothly for motivation program which more focused toward STPM students at SMK Khir Johari, Sungai Petani, Kedah. 40 facilitators which majority are from INTAFF students participated actively in our program. 

We departed from UUM at 7 o'clock and arrived at SMK Khir Johari around 9 in the morning. When we arrived at that school, we surprised that most of teachers welcoming us and celebrate our arriving in front of the school gate.

This program started by the speech from head principle of SMK Khir Johari followed by project leader of this program, Nur Farhan Taufiqah binti Md Noor. After their speech the leader of facilitator, Mohd Farid Iqbal bin Zakaria give a brief explanation about the first activity. Most of activities that arranged by him more structured and focused to achieve their goals for their future. Besides, some of the modul give a focus-increase the communication skills. 

This program ended around 12 noon and we hope they are motivated and keep moving on for their study and we hope they will be more eager in facing the STPM examination, soon.
